Both, Mayor Cid and Chairman Pinera recognized Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High School (HML). as a viable candidate for the HDSF B.R.I.D.G.E.S. Grant. Therefore, the Education Advisory Board invited Administrative Directors Leonard Torres and Alexander Santoya from the Miami-Dade County Public Schools North Region Office and Juan Ramirez, Principal at HML. The Foundation team introduced a video presentation at the meeting that highlighted the Foundation’s mission, vision, and the work we have done over the last 14 years. We have been invited by Mr. Santoyo, Mr. Torres, and Mr. Ramirez to tour the HML Campus and meet with their team of professionals.
We look forward to collaborating with the administration, teachers, students, and parents to make a difference in the lives of students on the Autism Spectrum as they transition from high school to post-secondary education.
